Dior Goes Digital
No plans to jet off to Paris? No problem. Dior is now at your fingertips no matter where you are. The fabled French designer, which has nearly seven million Facebook fans, recently launched the online Dior Mag (dior.com/magazine). While few of us will cross the hallowed threshold of 30 Avenue Montaigne, we can still get the inside scoop on runway footage, new products, and even the storied archives.
The glossy site debuted in late February, and live-streamed the Fall/Winter 2012 fashion show as their first headline event. Check it out for daily Dior news and global activities, plus articles on the brand backstory. The magazine is Dior’s second phase, following the fall launch of their new website, Dior Backstage, which is dedicated to all things fashion and beauty.
While it may not be as gratifying as a real visit to the store, your bank account will be no worse for the wear.
